Bearings Skate

Am I suppose to “break in” new inline skate bearings when I first get them?

The bearings are sealed and supposedly have a light oil to aid in keeping resistance low. These bearings are ABEC-7 and for some reason they don’t spin that fast when I gave it a test flick

They will break in as you use them. Usually it only takes a good hard session to break in bearings. Bearings that use a gel lube can take much longer to break in. Breaking in is simply getting the lubricant evenly distributed in the bearing.
