This is what you will use whenever you are on level snow and need to get moving. The skating move is what you will need to use when you are going through flat areas or terrains. Gliding is the basic movement that boarders use to gain snowboard control, which is used more than anything when going down a hill.

Of course there are a lot of stereotypes that follow snowboarders, such as that they use marijuana.
