Steps to make snowboard from old skateboard deck?

i had been considering in some way affixing my old footwear to my old skateboard in some way, but i am not sure how to get it done.. apparent solutions that i don’t think works, duct tape, super glue, drilling an opening with the bottom (because then it might be being released the foot of the skateboard and dragging on the floor. any solutions could be appreciated.
