Delaware

Ohio and Kentucky
The fourth state we hike, the Buckeye State, was the 17th state to join the union. The name Ohio originated from the Iroquois Indians. Colorado
Colorado is the 10th state along our hike, and the 38th state admitted to the union in 1876. Colorado is well known as the home of the highest points of the Rocky Mountains. Colorado was named after the Spanish word "Colorado", meaning reddish colored.
