Directions for ADT computer lab assignment for January 25th
1. Open Mr. Steele’s webpage, and click on “Treck
2. Read information on treckusa homepage.
3. Click on “American Discovery Trail” text link to go to the official site of the American Discovery Trail. Explore this site for a few minutes to become familiar with the type of information available here.
4. On the treckusa homepage, click on “Trail Journal” in the menu on the left side. Read the four articles posted.
5. On the treckusa homepage, click on “Trail Photos” and look at the pictures posted so far.
6. On the treckusa homepage, click on “Classroom Activities,” and open the “Using the ADT to Learn Earth Science” category. Read the “Classroom Background Information” and American Discovery Trail Project Intro” articles. Next, complete “Lesson One.” For this lesson you will need to print out copies of the “blank map” and “information sheet”, being careful to know where you are printing before you start printing. Add a header to your document with your name on it before you print. Complete “activity one” of this lesson, turn in your completed map, then complete as much of the rest of the lesson as time permits.
